Sakura Sencha is a blend of a high quality Sencha tea leaves and the Japanese Sakura tree leaves to give the drink a more flavorful and aromatic experience. Rich taste with a pleasant sweet note and smooth texture.

Sencha is the most popular of all green teas made in Japan. This tea is very rich in C vitamin, microelements and antioxidants, especially catechins, which help our body to maintain youth and protect cardiovascular system. Catechins positively affect the digestion system, which is why we recommend to drink Sencha 30 min after meal. Due to its mild taste, it goes well with food, especially tempura and seafood.

The brew of Sencha has a greenish golden color and a mild mellow taste. You can brew the same tea leaves up to 3 times!

During the production process the tea leaves are steamed immediately after harvest to prevent oxidization, then rolled, and dried.

 

What is Sakura?

Sakura is a Japanese cherry tree which blooming season represents of the end of winter and the beginning of warmer seasons.

 

Cultivar – Yabukita, spring harvest.

Brewing conditions:

Amount of tea leaves: 2 g

Amount of water: 90 ml

Water temp.: 70-80 degrees

Brew for: 1 min.
