Sencha is the most popular of all green teas made in Japan. This tea is very rich in C vitamin, microelements and antioxidants, especially catechins, which help our body to maintain youth and protect cardiovascular system. Catechins positively affect the digestion system, which is why it is recommended to drink Sencha 30 min after meal. Due to its mild taste, it goes well with food, especially tempura and seafood.

Brewed Sencha has a greenish golden color and a mild mellow taste. You can brew the same tea leaves up to 3 times!

During the production process the tea leaves are steamed immediately after harvest to prevent oxidization, then rolled, and dried.

 

Brewing conditions:

Amount of tea leaves: 2 g

Amount of water: 90 ml

Water temp.: 70-80 degrees

Brew for: 1 min.
